• Under limited supervision, performs manual and complex duties in one or more of the following areas: shipping, receiving, packing, warehousing, store keeping and reclamation.
  Frequently handles hazardous materials such as chemicals and explosives.
• Plans and performs work, may make decisions on own initiative.
• Prepares related documentation and maintains files/records as required.
• May operate material handling equipment as necessary.
• Provides work leadership to others through assignment of work, review of progress, monitoring of results and instruction.

• Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Requires at least 5 years of related experience. May require forklift certification.
  Thorough knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures, including handling exceptions.
• Requires basic reading, writing, and numerical ability.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Effectively coordinates teamwork activities.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record may be required.
• Able to operate powered equipment such as forklift or hydraulic jack lift.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Compensation: This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $22.69 to $29.75 hour. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
