The HR Generalist supports and administers a wide range of human resources functions under general supervision. This role ensures compliance with policies, facilitates employee relations, and assists management in HR-related decision-making. The HR Generalist will actively participate in employment, compensation, benefits, training, compliance, and employee engagement while seeking opportunities to improve HR processes and workflow efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Administer human resources policies and procedures across two or more functional areas.
Collect, analyze, and report HR data, providing actionable recommendations to management.
Perform activities in employment, compensation, benefits, training, compliance reporting, and employee relations.
Support recruiting programs by interviewing, screening, evaluating, and selecting qualified applicants.
Partner with managers on job evaluation requests and compensation analysis.
Interpret HR policies, counsel employees on work-related issues, and conduct exit interviews.
Conduct and prepare materials for new employee orientations.
Research, analyze, and present recommendations for assigned HR projects.
Advise line managers on employee relations practices and performance management.
May provide technical guidance to lower-level HR staff.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 1 year of related HR experience.
Knowledge of HR techniques, applications, and programs.
Working knowledge of HRIS systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to analyze data, recommend solutions, and improve workflow efficiency.
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust with employees and management.

Compensation: This is a salaried non-exempt role. This means that employees are paid a salary and also receive overtime pay when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law). The starting salary range for this role and market is between $62,000 - $78,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan.
