Job Description

The Lennox factory in Marshalltown, IA is hiring Assemblers and operators to join our team.

 

Our main need is for Assemblers on second shift (3:30 p.m. - 12 a.m.). Some minimial positions for our 1st may be open. 

 

Earn $18+/hr starting base wage with ability to earn more per hour for production incentive

 

Individuals will work under direct supervision in the assembly of units or fabricated parts. Tasks are routine and repetitive. Ability to work overtime and have good attendance is a must. 

 

Position responsibilities and duties may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Must be able to move at least 20 pounds.
  • Utilizing various hand and power tools, or other specialized equipment to perform a variety of assembly tasks
  • Assemble small parts and calibrate precise measurements
  • Measuring and cutting insulation
  • Applying glue, wraps, and securing insulation

Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Some previous basic training, knowledge or skill. Basic shop skills and equipment operation knowledge. Must be able to read, understand, and apply customer specifications. Must be able to safely and effectively use a variety of tools, identify unit components, install insulation, and make labels per instructions. Must be able to move at least 20 pounds.
